New Hires & Eligibility

New Hire Eligibility

As a new hire, you now have access to a wide range of competitive benefits covering your physical, emotional and financial health. Full-time employees and part-time employees working a minimum of 24 hours per week and their eligible dependents can participate in the Company’s benefits, beginning on the 1st day of the month following their date of hire. If hired on the first of the month, benefits begin immediately. Explore this site to learn about all the plans and programs we have to offer.

Dependent Eligibility

You can enroll your family members in our benefits programs with you.

Eligible dependents include:

  • Your spouse or domestic partner
  • Your children up to age 26 (natural children, legally adopted children, stepchildren and any children you are the legal guardian)
  • Dependent children of any age who are mentally or physically disabled

Employees must enroll to enroll any dependents, and dependents must be on the same plan as the employee.

Enrolling ln Benefits

You have 30 days to enroll yourself and your family in your chosen plans from your date of hire. If you miss your initial 30-day window, you will not be able to enroll until the next annual open enrollment period (unless you have a qualifying change in status).

Making Changes to Your Coverage

After your new hire enrollment, you may only make changes to your benefits during our annual open enrollment, unless you have a qualifying change in status that changes your family status. Qualifying status change events include, but are not limited to:

  • Marriage, divorce, legal separation or death of a spouse
  • Birth, adoption, placement for adoption, death or change in custody of a child or dependent
  • A change in your or your spouse’s employment that affects your benefits eligibility

If you have a qualifying life event, you must visit the benefits administration platform powered by ADP within 30 days to make changes to your benefit elections related to the event.
